Thank you for your understanding and trust. We wish to inform you transparently of a security incident that may have affected some of your personal data.
Useful information
On March 2, 2026, our online ticketing service provider, Vivaticket, was the victim of a ransomware cyberattack that resulted in the encryption of some of its servers. This incident caused a temporary unavailability of certain services and may have affected some data hosted on these infrastructures.
Initial analyses indicate that the potentially affected data is identification data used in connection with your account or purchases on our site (for example: name, surname, and address). At this stage of the investigation, no data extraction has been confirmed by cybersecurity experts.
Based on information received from Vivaticket, we want to reassure you that the affected environments do not store banking data. Your payment information is therefore not impacted by this incident.
As a precaution, we urge you to remain vigilant against any fraudulent messages (emails, text messages, or calls) that may attempt to impersonate our organization or Vivaticket in order to obtain personal information.
We specifically recommend that you:
never share your passwords or sensitive information by email or phone,
change your password if necessary,
check the sender of any messages you receive, and
report any suspicious messages to us.
Upon detection of the incident, our service provider isolated the affected systems and, with cybersecurity experts, initiated analysis and security measures for the infrastructure. A notification has also been filed with the relevant supervisory authority.
The Citadelle Activities Committee has also taken all necessary steps to ensure the continuity of its services in a secure manner. We are monitoring the situation very closely and are taking all necessary measures to guarantee the security of your data.
If you would like further information or to exercise your rights regarding the protection of your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer at the following address: dpo@citadelle.namur.be – Mr. Jeffrey Geenen-Ridolfi.
Thank you for your trust and please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
