Starting in September 2025, the Citadel of Namur is expanding its offerings with a brand-new immersive guided tour on the theme of the Middle Ages. Thanks to its carefully designed scenography and interactive tools, "The Citadel in the Middle Ages" transports you to the era of fortified castles, knights, and medieval daily life.
In a 90-minute tour, accompanied by a guide, explore iconic sites such as the Count's residence, the old well, and the Charter Tower. At each stop, visual, audio, and light displays will immerse you in captivating themes: the castle as a place of power, defense, and life, but also hygiene, food, and religion in the Middle Ages.
Designed for all audiences, this tour is available in French, Dutch, and English.
