The Route Merveilleuse is currently closed due to an accident that damaged the Pont des Hollandais.
The restaurant "le Fief de Namur" is however accessible via the Route Merveilleuse (behind the Casino).
The tour by miniature train is therefore interrupted for an indefinite period. Thank you for your understanding.

In Terra Nova, the starting point for guided tours, there is a large car park with reserved spaces for vehicles for people with reduced mobility.

You will then have to walk a few meters before entering the Tourist Information Center, located on the ground floor of the Terra Nova barracks that has easy access .In the same building you will find the self-service Made in Namur restaurant as well as adapted toilets.

The Terra Nova Visitor Centre is also located in the barracks. The entire complex is thus well accessible for people with reduced mobility to discover on their own.

There are two guided tours adapted for persons with reduced mobility :

  • The tourist train: the train itself and its access ramps allow for a wheelchair or carriage to be taken on without difficulty.
  • The underground galleries: on reservation at least two weeks in advance, specially trained people can take you into the bowels of the Citadel with a joëlette system.

The package costs € 50 for a maximum of 20 people including 1 joëlette (a one-wheeled chair).
